This struck a chord

I heard this the other day and the strong, resiliant people I have met on this board immediately came to mind "It's not what happens to you in life, it's how you deal with it"

That is now on my fridge...along with     "Ageing is inevitable.  Maturing is optional"                Just in case I forget to enjoy life!

    I am going to type this and put it on my fridge. Okay? of course Ro came to my mind mainly because she is here for a long time and is a good support to all of us.

    It really says it all, doesn't it?

    Thanks, Cleo, as I sometimes need to be reminded that when faced with adversity, it is all in my attitude as to how successfully I cope with it.  Like nempark, I  am going to type that up and put that someplace where I can read it daily.  Yes, it does remind me of Ro and her remarkable resilence and positive outlook.
