My update. Liver biopsy tomorrow
I've been a little quiet lately. During the week of NanaB's passing, I lost two additional people in my life. I lost my friend of 30 years. He passed away suddenly from heart problems. I also lost my uncle (by marriage). He was a doctor at the Mayo clinic. He was the second or third opinion in my cancer battle. I depended on him to be the voice of reason. Sadly, he died unexpectedly of kidney cancer. He was aware of it but had already staged it and decided not to share it until it was too late. All of these losses got me very introspective. I'm so grateful for the love and support of this family and my immediate family. I have had my follow-up CT scan. The doctors are doing a liver biopsy tomorrow because they saw something abnormal in the CT scan. I am hoping for the best and looking at it positively. i'm also doing my first follow-up colonoscopy on March 10. We will get results from all the tests on March 18. Naturally, we are a little nervous. I'm holding strong to my positive thoughts. Welcome to all the new people. I know with the strength of my family and friends everything is possible. Most of you, knowingly or not are my heroes and my strength.

Hi Yolanda. I am sorry to
Hi Yolanda. I am sorry to hear about your recent losses. I hope that the biopsy and the scans show something that is highly treatable or show that the doctor's concerns were unwarranted and you retain your ned status. Either way, keep fighting the good fight.

You are very much in my
You are very much in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope the biopsies will turn up nothing problemmatic.
I sympathize with your feeling of shell-shocked. My father-in-law passed away from cancer the week before I was diagnosed. I wasn't even able to go to the funeral because I was in the hospital being treated for the blockage that lead to my diagnoses.
Wishing you well and sending much love your way! XOXO
