Some good news - still NED after all these years!

in Colorectal Cancer #1

I just had my 8 year scans and checkups (well, about 6 weeks before my 8 year cancerversery) and all remains fine.  NED and I remain best friends.  Next scans in 1 1/2 years!  For those who don't know me, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic appendix cancer (mucinous adenocarcinoma) in April, 2007.  I completed treatment about 7 years ago; have been NED ever since.

    Not kayaking today or tomorrow

    Tomorrow, there are major motorcycle [yes, motorcycle] races scheduled on our lake!  It would be pretty dangerous to be out in my kayak Cool
