in Head and Neck Cancer #1

Doc's talking about giving me a blast of Genzar prior to my 28 day clean-out which is in anticipaiton of the PD-1 Trial.  Anyone have the drug before and what did you go thorugh?

    I never have heard of it.

    Had not heard of it but I also never had chemo or Rads, only surgery. I looked it up at http://www.drugs.com/gemzar.html  It seamed to have a lot of information  on what it does and what side effects to watch for. Hope the trial PD-1 works. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

    My brother

    Had this drug along with the cisplatin for bladder cancer treatment in 2013/14. He didn't have any problems with the Genzar but the cisplatin kicked him in the gut.
