Hi Everyone... It has Been A Long Time....
Hi ladies...
It has been a long time since I posted in here but I come in all the time and read to stay up to date. I us mostly my tablet these days and it is so much quicker to type on my laptop..... Since I posted last we have moved again.... Yikes. Third time since we moved to New Hampshire in April 2013.. They say third times the charm and I guess I agree. The first house we were renting went up for sale and got an offer in four months. We had first right of refusal but I didn't want that house. It was too big and not homey. We then rented month to month in another house till we found a house we loved. That took 10 months but finally found one and we ended up moving in the middle of September. It feels so good to be settled again... Through the moves we were always in the same school district so the boys didn't have to change schools at all.
I now see my oncologist twice a year for observation and my regular gyno once a year. Mamo's or mri every six months. My oncologist retired so I will be meeting my new one in March. He is out of Mass General in Boston but is in Dover NH 3 days a week so I will see him there. I get to stay close to home with all the great opportunities that Mass General brings... It was 3 years ago January 20th that I found out I had cancer. My CA 125 bounces around between 5 and 7. With the lab in NY it bounced between 10 and 12 so I will take the low numbers here in NH....
Last week we didnt have any snow on the ground. Monday night it started snowing and didn't stop till we had 30" of snow. It was a blizzard out there the entire time. We were off from school and work Tuesday and Wednesday. Now Monday we are going to get another 8-12"....It is pretty out there.
That is about all that is new with me. Now I am going to scroll through and catch up with everyone then I am off to start cooking and making appetizers for tomorrow. We are having a superbowl party......
How are you all doing???

Hello!
Nice to hear from you and I love your picture! So glad that you are doing well, health-wise, and enjoying life (despite all of the snow that you all seem to be getting in New England!). End of next month will mark four years of NED (no evidence of disease) for me since finishing front-line chemo. I see my oncologist every six months for CA 125 (coming up next week) and still see my gyn-oncology surgeon every six months for the "poke and prod" checkup. I feel very lucky. I know of at least two other ladies, also stage 2b like me, who have had recurrences.
Hope you're enjoying the Super Bowl. Since the 49ers aren't in it, I'm not as interested but taped it for the commercials!
Warmly,
Kelly

Alexandra I read your planning post I think it was. How are you feeling? Hows the numbers? Kelly when is your appointment?
Since I posted last my oldest swam his way into the state championship. The meet is this Saturday. I am solo happy for him and super proud. He worked really hard.
Tomorrow work is closed for the third Monday in a row. Hubby's too and school too. More snow. We went from no snow at all to nowhere to put any more. 30" in the first storm. 16 last week and 14 to 18 predicted for this storm.
Prayers for all....

Good-luck to your oldest at his meet this Saturday! I'm sure you're very excited! My appointment is this Tuesday and am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that all remains well. I wish we could ship some of your snow to the Sierra Nevada's which desperately need it. We going into our fourth year of drought conditions in California.
Take care and stay warm and dry!
Hugs,
Kelly
