surgery
Mom says she's not done fighting. Wants the surgery to remove her bladder. She would still have a cancerous spot on her left lung. I don't know if the surgery is worth the risks. Has anyone had it? What was recovery like?

Bladder Removal
I have no experience with this as I am a newly diagnosed with bladder cancer and my fight has only just begun so imvestigate anything I can suggest. I have been told that a new bladder can be constructed from using parts of the intestine. There has been success with this and I'm told those having this surgery don't have (drastic) quality of life changes.
