Disney World and nearby medical facilities

My family is hoping to visit Disney World next week. I am currently receiving chemotherapy treatments. The week we visit will be my "off" week. I have needed platelets recently and want to be prepared if we are in Orlando and need medical attention. Any suggestions of hospitals or facilities in the area? I appreciate any feedback!

    Cancer Centers in FL

    Moffitt in tampa is the 3rd largest NIH center of 18 in the US. From Orlando, you'd be 60-90 minutes away. There is good care in West Palm and Miami, but it is just as far. There may be a good facility right in Orlando. Call the ACS 800-227-2345 to ask. Hope you go/went and had a good time!
