No cancer activity.
No cancer activity at this time!
I had my PET Scan done yesterday , all clear !
I am still going to finish my last two rounds of chemotherapy and then do rituxen only once every two months for two years.
I am really happy aboutbeing cancer clear but having to finish out my treatments and then do Rituxan is a small bummer. Psychologically im ready to face this world. 2014 was awful and it can kiss my behind ,I'm going to have a good 2015 and I hope each and everyone of you will have an awesome 2015 aswell.
Healthy life....mind , body , and soul here I come!

Rituxan is the mildest cancer treatment on the planet, but highly effective for many lymphoma types. My reaction would be thanksgiving that it is available.
I am delighted with your remission,

Yay!!!!!!
GG,
SO happy for you! This is remarkable news!! I know the thought of maintenance tx is a bummer, but if overall it keeps you all clear, then so be it!! It hopefully won't disrupt your life too much. So as my onc always says: " GO LIVE!!"

Great news
I know you are so relieved, this has been hard on you along with personal problems to deal with. Now maybe you can start making some travel plans. Have you ever watched the show "Tiny Houses"? Think there is one on HGTV.
Wishing a lifetime of continued health,
Becky

Congratulations
GG, Great news! Remission, glorious remission.
I also went through 2 more chemos after remission. And 2 years of Rituxan maintenance (I have one more to go). Try not to be bummed about the extra treatments although I do understand your feelings.
Glad you made it through a rough 2014. Year 2014, will you now please kiss GG's behind?
Welcome to a fresh, clean new year 2015. I hope it is your best yet!!
Love,
Rocquie

Yes itsThanks everyone !
Yes its been a bumpy ride but it's all going to be smoothing out. I am pretty sick this round but I'll be feeling human again soon. One Bendamustine/Rituxin and the rest will be a breeze like Max said.
Someone asked mean what my plans were now that I'm in remission? My answer was to continue forth with my RV plan and whatever else I have to do to simplify my life. Yes Becky I have seen the show the tiny houses I would love to do that but I think as of this time I'll be doing the RV For a start. I think there may be a day when I do it . My plan b before was to build one with my son who decided to get in some hot water. There will be plenty of time....i have a great 45 plus years ahead. I'm gonna grow old and spunky.

Hello GG:
Happy to hear the good news. I am undoubtedly repeating myself, but I finished 2 years of Rituxan at the end of December 2014. Had no other therapy .
I have an appointment next Wednesday with my new Onc where she will review my latest blood test. Am a bit anxious.
Keep up the good work.

Nancy that is super news. You know that your results are in the thoughts and/or prayers of evwryone here. Also: if no one repeated themselves here, about 70% of all the posts would vanish ! Wishing you the best,

It's reallyThanks Everyone.
It's really weird doing chemo when you know it's gone. I am wandering if it's really necessary to have to do the rituxen for two years. The last bigger chemo is in the beginning of February and I understand finishing that. I guess I'll do it all if he sais I need to just a little bit irritated. I hate cancer. It's such a pain in the rear.
Last chemo I was pretty sick, each time it's worse but I know somehow it gets done each time. Looking forward to getting on with my life. I've been shopping for a fifth wheel online, almost ready to get out there and do the deal. I know I have come threw this cancer for a reason and I know moving and buying a RV is in his plan. I am excited to see what else the good Lord has in store for me. My kids are right by my side,I'm in remission ....not sure what more to say but I'm so greatful for everyone keeping me above water. You all have my deepest gratitude.
Now to get to the five year mark !

You bring back fond memories. We bought our 5th wheel on Ebay sight unseen in 2000. We knew what we wanted though and this was exactly the one, a yr old but never used, so we paid about half of what it was worth. We bought a new truck (Bill needed it for business anyway), and headed from CA to Crossville TN. What an adventure! and I must say, harrowing at times. We drove the northern route to pick it up and the southern route to return. We had the best time and still remember our trip fondly. We still have the 5th wheel and still love it!
Happy Trails,
Becky

That's awesome! Nothing like buying a never seen in person yet RV. It's so cool it was perfect for you.
I told my best friend I found one I really liked but it was on the other side of the u.s.a. She was like " so we can have a road trip !" I was like "Really!" Then I realized why we make such great friends....ADVENTURE! I suspect my future is going to have some adventure, and some learning moments along with some pee your pants funny stories. I'm starting to feel really excited about this. Cancer will not slow me down its just lit a fire in me to live my life to the fullest way possible.
