Wow thanks for sharing this story, it certainly gives me hope. My husband is in similar situation, he's 40 and is not the stereotypical oesophageal cancer story either. He's currently having 'palliative' chemo and is doing amazingly well. We are seeing our oncologist on 14th January and I'm going to start asking about radiotherapy and surgery - why can't they reassess people if they respond well? He has everything to live for. Thanks for the uplifting story, has made my day!
