I see newly diagosed finding this site right away-I was a slow learner

I wish I had found thist site while I was going through my cancer. I only found it years afterwards-when a friend that had skin cancer and sugery said she was a survivor. I never thought of myself of a Survivor until I found this site.

 

I would just say I HAD cancer-

 

It's great so many are finding this early on-like I wish I had!

    Same here Denise

    After my mastectomy, a psychologist came around to see how I was doing mentally. She mentioned staying off the internet esp blogs and chat rooms as they would just bring me down. So I found this site after getting better from chemo/rads, but it is still GREAT that I found it late! I wish I hadn't believed all medical professionals all the time. They are not always right! Love and peace for Christmas, Anna
