Low Grade Fibromyxoid Sarcoma

My husband, 47 years has been diagnosed with low grade fibromyxoid sarcoma. The doctor has given him 3 to 6 months to live. He had a lump come up on his shoulder back in January and then it started to grow. It did not hurt. He just said it was nothing. Then he started hurting in his lower left back around his kidney area. We thought it was a bad disc. Went to chiropractor, that didn't help. Anyway to make a long story short. He had a biopsy of the shoulder lump and swelling mass on his lower back. It was this type of cancer. It has eaten his pelvic bone up, if that is what you call it, it has spread to his lungs, liver. There is not much info on this type of cancer. From what I have read this is a rare form of cancer and is very hard to treat. They say that chemo and radiation are out of the question, because it is to spread. Does anyone know anything about this type of cancer. The last CT scan showed that it was not in his head, but in the last few days, he says his eyes hurt him. He has been sick to his stomach, but I think his calcium level is back up, this happens when the cancer is in the bones. Just want to hear any info, someone might have.

Thanks
