Today is Eileen and Danny's 40th Wedding Anniversary.  The following was shared by Eileen's sister, Wendy:

 

Today Eileen Swords and Danny Daniel Swords celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Patsy and I are here with them and helping to get everyone on a schedule. Eileen is hanging in there. She likes to visit and sleeps in between. Last night all the sisters were together and Katherine Swords was here too.

    How wonderful that the four sisters could be together again, with Danny and Catherine to celebrate. Eileen sure is a fighter.

    Looks like CC felt good enough to get out and get some fresh air.  Here is another post from her sister:

    We just took a walk to the end of the driveway. Eileen wanted to walk the dogs. Patsy has done an amazing job of getting her meds in order and she has been eating these Popsicles that Aaron made for her with all kinds of great nutritional things in them.

    So happy you are feeling a wee bit better (I have 3 monsters, American bulldogs, and I still walk them).  Happy Anniversary to you and your husband.  You are in my prayers always.

    Thank you Jean for keeping us all posted about Eileen & Danny having their 40th Anniversary Nov 23, 2014**   Our Hearts are Happy for them being able to mark this Day together.  Praying for Eileen and for all of the Family for Strength during this very difficult time.  Hope they are having good weather with her wanting to walk those Dogs  :)

    Thanks for the update, Jean.  I think the world of Eileen and pray she comes out of this.  She and I are old timers, her bc was in 1985 and mine was in 1994.  Though Eileen did not have a recurrence for 22 years (and why couldn't it stay that way, cancer cells just sleeping for the rest of her life instead of waking).  I did have a period of NED while using Arimidex but for 20+ I always was on some form of BC medication.

    I just posted 2 pictures on my expressions page of Eileen.  I didn't know how else to do it.  It's great to see her smiling face.  There hasn't been any updates the last few days.
