Ice on mouth (avoiding sores, etc) while Avastin, before Oxaliplatin?

for neuropathy we tried recomendation from best oncologist here: first Avastin, then before and after the Oxaliplatin two drugs: calcium gluconate and magnesium sulfate, did anyone try?

 

for mucositis and sores they didn't allow cold, but other drugs were recommended and we are trying
