2 yr check up- Still NED!
Hi Everyone!
I know I don't always post topics as much as I use to, but I view everyday and comment when I can. So, I try not to be a stranger....But, I wanted to share the good news!... Kreg has gone for his 2 yr check up today and he still remains NED!
For those of you that are not familiar with us, he was diagnosed Aug 2012 with Stage IV, SCC BOT, HPV+, 2 lymph nodes involved. His treatment consisted of radiation and chemo for 7 weeks, (Chemo once a week, Rads 5 days a week), no surgery.
We are so thankful for all the encouragement from everyone that helped us along the way. As his caregiver, I plan to stick around here to help whenever I can. Kreg is very helpful with answers to questions I see on the forum and I normally post from his advice, as he chooses to remain at a small distance from the forum. But trust me, he knows each and everyone one of you that helped him/me along the way. He's very grateful of all of you that took time from your own life to help.
God Bless you all,
Cris ~Cureitall~

Over the hump!
Wow!... Congrats! Two years is the hallmark from what my team has said. If you get to two years clean then the chances of recurrance go down dramatically. That's also (at least for me) that the 3 month checks go to every 6 months. It's a huge hurdle and one that should be music to your ears
Just five more months for me
Positive thoughts an prayers
