Dear All:
6 month post pet scan behind me now.
Wow, what a two week scananziety attack! My Pet Scan showed no cancer. Amen! I was so mentally and physically tired that I litterally slept the whole weekend. Taken Lorazpan definitely helped me get through it, though, the rad dr. wasn't to enthused to see me so calm on a "clinical visit." Of course he doesn't wear shoes of a cancer patient so he obviously couldn't relate. Thank you "P" for your advice.

Yup....Lorazapam is
the bomb for scanxiety!! Did you fall asleep during the clinical visit??
If not, then what's the Dr.'s problem! I'm almost out of Lorazapam, and have a scan in December. I told my Oncologist I'm calling in for a refill.....the ones I have were prescribed July, 2012....so there's no need thinking I might get addicted. I just want them at my side when I need them.
WHOO HOO on the all clear!! NED is our favorite word around here...

Six months and NED
Congrats on the clean scan. Yes, when you wear our shoes you see things much different. Little things to "them" is major to us and big to them often doesn't matter that much anymore to us, it is all perspective and ours is about what really does matter.
May your tomorrows be even better than today.
