Skiffinator...

Just a quick update..., sorta..
I'm still hanging in there full of hope...
I had an abcess pop up, very slowly near one of the original drain sites... That was pretty painful.., got some antibiotics and pain meds for that, and it's on the mend.
Not much new on the leky hole as of yet...
I am scheduled to see my Gastro MD per my surgeon... The stint hat he ut in for the original surgery has moved in my stomach from horizontal, to vertical... So I guess they are going to do a somehwat Endoscopy and pull the stint out through my throat and mouth..., lovely.
Hoping that might help with some minor nausea and possibly source of the hole not healing...
Will keep you informed...
Thoughts and Prayers,
John

John my boy,
Thank you for the graphic update.
Tell me, what is more serious a leaky gut or a leaky boat? Well I wish you have neither and hope clear skies are ahead.
Take care “Obie One Skiffin”,
Matt
Sounds like a conspiracy to me, just wanted to say hey and glad you are hanging in there. Diane has kept me up on your journey hear its been tough, but so are you. Just letting you know you have been in our prayers (and your family). So keep up the good work and keep the fish population under control. Doug

Thanks for the update. You
Thanks for the update. You are in my thoughts and prayers often. Keep up the fight and keep your sense of humor. This withdraw from fish stories is getting troublesome so I need you out on the water soon. Praying the procedure goes well and this time solves the leak.

Well, well....HELLO JOHN!!!
Damn....this has been one long haul!! Glad to know you are eating, and hoping that as far as eating goes, fish can be on your menu. I'm thinking tho.....that "fishING" is on the menu for sure.....is it?
Sure have missed you around here.....so many new folks haven't gotten the benifits of all that you know, and your magical way of bucking us up in times of need.

MORE STUFF
Hey John,
I'm sorry to hear that you have more stuff to deal with, as if you don't have enough already. I'm glad that the abcess is mending, and hopefully the stint with the stint will have a happy ending. Hang in there, and hopefully you'll be back out floundering sooner than later.
