Raleigh and Virginia Beach are my travel plans

Getting on a flight Friday to Raleigh, then driving to VG Beach and back. Anyone live on this route?  I'll  hopefully meet up with Gail in Raleigh.

    Outer banks?

    why go to VA beach? The outer banks of NC are beautiful. I wouldn't go to VA beach unless I had to.. (I live in VA). 

    I haven't driven that route in 20 years, not since my brother worked there. You'll be fine. VA cell phone laws allow everything but texting while driving- I'm sure you can surf the web and find out what the rules are in NC.

    We have a family reunion in

    We have a family memorial golf tournament in Raleigh and our daughter lives in VG Beach, going to visit her.  My post must not be clear wondering who in this board lives on the way that we can meet. :)
