Post Menopausal bleeding
Wow it's been quite awhile since I have actually posted anything. I am so sad to see that we have lost some of the brave Pink angels that I know helped me so much as well as helping others. I will def have to update my pic since it was taken the day before I got my port which was in January 2010. I lost my Dad the day after father's day that year. It seemed we both got sick at the same time. I actually did really well with my chemo and rads. I was on Carboplatin, taxotere and herceptin. I had one down day with my Carbo/Taxotere.
This past august I had a colonoscopy which went well, then I taught Vacation Bible school and got some kind of virus and was off for a couple of days. All of a sudden, I started bleeding (old blood). It was just like a period. I went to my ob gyn and he has decided to do a D & C which is scheduled for Oct 2nd. I am so nervous. The last four years have been very hard, as I know my husband has been cheating on me and says he has not loved me for years. We still live in the same house, but that is about it. He was very cruel while I was going through Chemo. He went with me to my treatments, but found he was down stairs texting other women while I was in the infusion room.
I am a Christian and God has gotten me through it so far. Now, I am hoping that this bleeding is not uterine cancer or some other cancer. I also wanted to put out there that I want to be a source of support to anyone who is going through treatment. I know I needed the encouragement and I learned so much and got so much support from all of the wonderful ladies and gentlemen here. Please pray for me as I go through this waiting period once again.
I was told for months that my BC was merely a fibroid adneoma, then told it was so small I didn't need a mastectomy, only to find out that I was her2 positive. Ugggggh. It was cancer all along and I was so blessed that it didn't get any bigger than it was. IDC er+ pr+ her2+.
I was on tomoxifen and did really well, switched to aromison and have joint pain, other than that I have been very blessed.

I had bleeding four years
I had bleeding four years after treatment and turned out to be just a polyps. It was removed and all well. They are rarely cancerous. Only the gynacologist saw it with a better scan macine than the hospital had! Let's hope this could be your problem too and nothing more.
