    Merkel Cell Carcinoma

    Hi, I see this post is about 8 months old but just became a member today. I was diagnosed with stage 3 Merkel Cell on 11/3/14. To date I have received 6 cycles of Chemo and radiation treatments and will be going for new scans at the end of the month. Looking foward to a response for further discussuion.

    Merkel cell car.

    Had First surgery in nov 2012 & again in jan 2013  then chemo & radiation . Went 27 months clean scans then In May of 2015 knee started hurting thought maybe a torn something  nope Merkel cell back again will start Radiation this week and hope we can stop it be fore it get into the bone to far.  willing to chat to anyone who is having Merkel cell trouble and what is being done . And yes the costs are starting to added up as I am 63  and retired and trying to stay afloat.

    I have Merkel Cell

    I have Merkel Cell Car. frist was 3 yr ago with 27 months of clean scan now back again . Have had the surgery's chem and now 2 round of radiation. Started out with stage 4 b this time in the knee & haven't even asked what stag. get back with me and will talk.

    Yes I have been treated twice now , just started chemo for the 2nd time , so contact me if you need some help or just need to vent/

    My dad was diagnosed with Merkel Cell Carcinoma a few days ago.  He is 92.  He has an appointment with a dermatologist next week.  What should I expect?
