If I were to get out my print-out of the findings of my surgery, I think I remember there being mention of the signet ring. I haven't given that much thought because I have dealt aggressivelt with my bc -- double mastectomy, chemo, and radiation therapy. I currently am taking tamoxifen.
If you are asking for advice, I would suggest going after your bc aggressively. Why mess with it more times than you have to? That is what I told myself.

            Signet Ring Cells
My biopsy in 1994 showed that I had signet ring cells. Mine were mixed ductal and lobular with signet ring cells. I never asked what it meant and 20 years later, I don't think I will. I believe that they resemble a signet ring when looking under micoscope.
You can report to us.
