I spoke today with my trusted oncologist of 27 years

He had a totally different opinion from my local onc. He said forget trying to biopsy the lungs because they are not hypermetabolic (Yay Doris). He wants to wait on the pancreatic biopsy and, if it is negative, he wants another liver biopsy to make certain we are treating the cancer with the best drugs available.
I also asked him what he thought about the possibility of pancreatic mets (very rare). And he said it is rare but not impossible. I am praying that the pancreas has mets. I'd frankly rather deal with another liver recurrence - even that doesn't sound fun either.
I felt really good today. No nausea and light pain, so...drumroll...I went shopping. Danny came with me even though I am sure he would rather be anywhere else. Lol, he always says he doesn't mind, but he kind of stands near the door like one of those Buckingham Palace guards - not moving and not smiling. He is not a shopper. But he didn't want to leave me alone and he was a good sport. He even helped me pick out a baby gift for a niece.
Thank you all again for all of the support. It has meant so much to me and really helps me get through it!

Happy you had a good day...funny about Buckingham Palace...I got a chuckle out of that..
CC,
Shopping always makes me feel a bit better. Danny sounds like my husband, really doesn't want to be there but will do it for me. He's really funny!
Still hoping all turns out to be managable and just a little bump in this long road that you have been traveling.
You are my rock, I think and pray for you every day.
Hoping for more Happy Days ahead!

Hi Cynthia,
I'm so glad you had a good day! Praying for a gazillion more for you!
Best,
Sharon
Pleased as punch that you managed to squeeze out a good day - shopping with Danny, picking out a baby gift and getting out into the Sun -- ahhhh, sounds wonderful my Dear Precious Friend.
Continued prayers that there are NO mets to your pancreas.
There has been an ongoing run of 'nastiness' brought on by the beast - I am frustrated, confused and wish the best for each and everyone of my Sister's in PINK preparing for another battle, or another round of testing.
Many days of strength and PERSEVERANCE, I wish and pray for all.
