Lung scars vs nodules
What's the difference between them?
Had my ct OF the lungs with color contrast a week ago,
A month ago had a. X Ray, different doctor said lung scar.
now, different Radiologist and doctor said it looks like a scar 2cm in size
& now call it a suspicious nodule.
But being I had kidney cancer I now have to have a lung biopsy
Curious if any one else has had the same?

This I understand. But evenicemantoo said:Chest CT
Laurie,
The one thing I can add is that a chest CT sees a lot more than a chest xray. Sp do not expect them to be identical.

This I understand. But even the 2nd doctor said that it appears to look like a scar
Had nothing to do with the two at the same time.

I did a quickie Google search. I read a bit about Lung scarring. When suspected, they are usually biopsied even without a history of cancer like you have. It sounds like from what you have said, that your doctors will need to confirm since the CT scan cannot be 100% certian it is a lung scar. I found webmd to be a helpful site for this topic. Have a good evening!

Are you sure it is 2 CM and
Are you sure it is 2 CM and not 2 MM..? At 2 CM a CT with contrast should be pretty conclusive, I would think. If it is 2 MM then perhaps a wait and rescan is an option. I tend to be anti extra sugical procedures if not really needed. Just my 2 cents worth..
