Long term effects of brain tumor

At 17 I was diagnosed with a germinoma brain tumor. I had radiation and chemotherapy. The tumor 

was erradicated with the treatment. The whole experience was life changing for my family and I.

I was left with only two side effects of the cancer after treatment. I had double vision and my legs 

were very stiff when I walk. I am 41 years old now and the double vision is corrected with special 

lenses. The stiffness in my legs when I walk is still there. I believe it started as a result of self 

consciousness when I first had the tumor. I can sometimes correct my walking and sometimes 

not. It makes me very uncomfortable when I am around others and in public. Has anyone 

else ever experienced something like this? I would appreciate any comments about it.
