Finally at peace

After a long hard fight right to the very end my husband finally decided that it was time to let go and go play with our beautiful yellow lab that put down a couple of years ago. He went gasping for every last breath. Until his body had decided he had enough. It was difficult to watch him go that way but now he is at peace and no longer in pain.
Thank you all so much for all the kind words and comfort you have offered me during this difficult journey.
Sandi

I am so sorry. It is never easy at the end but sadly it sometimes neccesary to travel the full road to the end. When someone is snatched away from life suddenly we often don't understand. When we see them fight tooth and nail to the very end we are ready for them to have peace at last. I wish you peace in your time of loss. Ron.

Dearest Sandi
I am hurting for you at this time.
I am sorry that your darling husband has been taken from you. Your love for him was so very evident in all you did and all you said.
I pray that you will take the time to grieve your loss, a life time no doubt. '
You are a strong woman, and will move forward, but he will forever be by your side, in spirit.
Blessings, dear forum friend.

My heart goes out to you. Although my husband's passing was fairly peaceful, my daughter's was not. Somehow none of this seems fair considering the great battle each fought.
Peace to you.

Sandi:
I am so sorry for your loss. I know the horrible pain you are in right now and the difficult days that lay ahead for you. Please know that others who have traveled this path truly understand the heartache you are experiencing. You will smile again, laugh at a TV show, look at a precious picture and smile, it will take lots of time, but it will happen when you least expect it.
If you need anything or just want to vent, send me an e-mail.
Again, my sincerest condolences.
Hugs - Tina
