Diet Sodas

I no longer drink ANY soda
I no longer drink ANY soda for years now. I used to love diet soda.
Once at a baby shower, I overheard my brother joke how we, women, would only drink diet sodas yet chow down on the dessert table!
But I started to think about it this way: we eat, drink and breathe IN so many chemicals. Soda is just that=chemicals. No nutritional value.
Our bodies are trying to fight off disease and CANCER cells all the time. Maybe we weaken our bodies abilities by the chemicals and such that
enter our systems..maybe?

Count me in
I too use to drink soda.....or as we say in the midwest, "pop". Years ago I started giving it up for Lent because it was that much of a sacrifice for me. After 6 weeks of Lent, on Easter Sunday I would partake and found it to be so sweet it was almost sickening. Then after about the third year of giving it up I decided to give it up except when I mix it with rum. HA! So, I do have one or two soda's occasionally but I figure the alcohol probably kills off the other chemicals. Dilusional you say? Pfft. Now if I could only find a way to eliminate all the other crap I ingest.

TaB was / is...Footstomper said:?
What on earth is tab?
TaB was introduced in the early '60s by Coca-cola as their response to Royal Crown Cola's Diet Rite Cola. When they introduced Diet Coke, it feel out of favor a bit. But it's still made and marketed.
