Just checking in, I am in Nashville at the NationalWomen's Survivors Convention With my SIL, Kelly. Kelly was told 3 weeks ago that the cancer has spread to lungs, colon and stomach . Even with this diagnosis she has continued to work out with trainer (last thing I would do even if I had 3 years to live), has flown to Nashville from LA and is attending the conference. She is an amazing woman and looks great (I will try to post pic). The doctor said she could be admitted to the hospital for 3 daya chemo, but she refused and wants to live her life, she is on no medication and is still taking the marijuana oil.

She has such a peace and joy about her, she has been reading the book Heaven by Randy Alcorn and is recommending it to everyone. I am sitting with my husband in a garden bar at The Gaylord while she and her husband are in workshops. Too bad most of the women here are breast cancer patients, we have not met one uterine cancer patient.  just a reminder Kelly has MMMT of the uterus. Thinking of all of you today, your bravery, your fears, your pain and your hope. I admire you all and appreciate all your kind words and encouragement over the last 2 years..

Can't find a place to add pic, will try to put it as my profiile  picture, it is Kelly yesterday with my husband, her brother.

Nicki thanks for the update on Kelly

I am sorry to hear about the spread to Kelly's lungs, stomach and colon.  Kelly sounds like one remarkable woman.    You have been a wonderful support for her, too.  i pray that the peace and joy will continue to fill Kelly's life.    May you find that peace, too in supporting the decisions that Kelly has made.  I admire both of you.  In peace and caring.

    Nicki, thank you for sharing

Nicki, thank you for sharing what Kelly is doing and what she is chosing to do in her journey.  No doubt her grace is announcing to all at the convention we are more than our breasts.  I suspect there are other warriors out here who have read your post and are cheering her own and praying for all of you as you move forward.
