Anal itching - internal
Hello friends ... It's been awhile!
question for all of you around or beyond 3.5 years post treatment with standard combined chemo/radiation. Do you still experience anal itching? What are your long-term "anal" issues that you deal with?
Thanks ... Coming up on CT scan and full follow up .... Worried as usual!
Any personal experiences appreciated! I guess I worry this itch is early recurrence.

I am approaching the 6-year survival mark and I still have occasional bouts of itching. I think it is just plain old skin irritation and nothing else. I think we can all agree that the skin in the anal area is different after radiation. I have occasional bleeding after a hard BM and I think that is all related to how friable the skin is. I think you are probably just fine and your CT will prove that!
