Transport from hospital for terminally ill
My sister was diagnosed with primary bladder squamous carcinoma (SCC) with Peritoneal Metastases just under two months ago, and because of an infection from the hospital she is unable to continue chemotherapy and is now under heavy pain medication. She said she does not want to die in the hospital, so we wanted to transport her to somewhere that would make her happy. Ideally we would bring her to her favorite beach house about an hour from the hospital, where she could have 24/7 medical support for pain. I don't even know where to begin looking into this. Is this possible? Who do I call? Do we hire a private ambulance? Our time is short. She is in MA and would like to go to Cape Cod.

my dad was diagnosed with
my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer and had an infection from a kidney drain and was unable to finish chemo so when we got the news that he only had a short time with us be decided with a hospice house in sandwich. It was called the McCarthy House. They were incredible there.

We never made it
Everything turned for the worse, very rapidly, so we were never able to get her out of the hospital. I am sitting with her now, in the hospital that she said she didn't want to die in, as she lays sedated and waiting... They said we can't transport her anymore because it might be too hard on her and she could die horribly in transport, but i'm not sure if this is much better... slow, agony...
