Will help with prayers
I'll send a prayer up that the Shingles doesn't put a spanner in the works, and chemo goes on as scheduled. Just know that if it does get cancelled, its not unusual. I bet there are few here that didn't have chemo cancelled at least once for one reason or another. I had it cancelled three times.
Chin up. I'll be thinking of you.

Treatment
The waiting game is always the hardest when it's their decision on whether treatment should go forward. You probably should talk to your oncologist and ask if you are going to received treatment or not, just so you don't waste your time driving to get it. I've done that twice and they turned me down and it took me 30 minutes each way. It just seemed like such a waste of time and energy (getting me prepared mentally) to go for treatment and it doesn't happen. Hope you do get to get it though, it seems like that just one more under your belt and then you can move onto #6 which will be half way done
Good luck

Update
I am receiving chemo therapy today! I never thought I'd be excited about that. I had tried to get them to make a decision yesterday with bloodwork. My oncologist is half an hour away also. They told me they wanted to see the sores on the day to decide. Fortunately, they think it's a go. He said I might feel more pain from the shingles but they shouldn't get any worse. Onward to cycle 5. He did say he hadn't planned on doing another CEA umail chemo finished.

You're right, seems odd to celebrate, but you know, one chemo down is one less to go.
My Oncologist didn't check my CEA until I was done with all of my treatments, so that is not unusual.
I am so happy that you get to mark one more off the calendar.
