Hi everyone I first posted on this site 17th June ,I had been diagnosed with 3c ovarian cancer and I was waiting for debulking surgery , I'm glad to say that has now been done , all gone very well my surgeon was able to remove all cancer he could see and omentum ect. I felt quite poorly for the first couple days but epidural and painkillers helped . I came home after 4 days and have been ok, I'm at the 2week mark and I'm out for walks and feeling better everyday. I've got a ct scan Thursday and blood tests ect next week so I should find out what my post op ca125 is ? I know it's mad by I'm obsessed by that number , my chemo starts up again on 24th July I've had 7 weeks off it and it's been lovely ! My hair has even started to come through..... albeit tufty but even that's nice . Best wishes to you all  .julie

    One big step!

Glad that's over!  Just take it a day at a time.

You know you shouldn't obsess about that CA125, but it's hard not to. Hoping for perfect results!

    Hi Julie

That's really great that you only had to spend four days in the hospital, post-surgery.  Sounds like your surgery was a success.  Thank goodness for those pain meds, huh?!  I know how hard it is not to think about that CA 125 but I too am hoping and praying for perfect results.  Please keep us posted.
