CT Scan Today

My mom is having a CT scan today to see if the second regimen of chemo is working.  I just wanted to post so she could get as many prayers/good vibes/positive energy as possible!  Thanks guys!

Thank you so much for the prayers!  The CT Scan showed a very small amount of growth on her existing tumors - much much less than the growth during her first chemo regimen.  So the doctor feels like the new drugs are stunting growth but they are not shrinking her tumors.  He gave us an option to stay on the current drugs or switch to a different one.  We felt like moving to a different one would be the most aggressive way to try to fight this.  She begins the new meds next week and we expect harsher side effects, but are hopeful that this will be the combination that will work for her.
