Lemons and Lemonade
Started the week off with feeling lonely. Then I had a major crying jag and was praying God would just take me. Then I broke my glasses, was told my closing on condo was postponed for two months and if that wasn't enough, I came home yesterday afternoon to find my house smelling like a sewer. Not just lemons, but rotten lemons. Well God is so good! He turned my rotten lemons into sweet lemonade. My Tuesday devotional gave me an encouraging word. My realtor reminded me I had two more months to sell my home and the early snowbirds would be coming in September to buy their retirement homes. I found an eye clinic that could get me in Wednesday and was told to look for the coupon in the Penny Saver. My new glasses, including tint and progressive lenses, plus the in depth exam were $125. What a deal. Then I realized I had time to go visit family up North since I wouldn't be moving right away and found round trip tickets for $339. Oh the sewer smell. It wasn't my problem, it was the Mobile Home Park's problem. So, no plumbing bill! So my week has turned out pretty darn good. If I was a gambler, I would play the lottery, but I am not. Besides, God provides all I need.
I am praying that God blesses each one of you and that during the rough times God helps you see the blessing in that rough patch,
Debbie

Lemon Margarita
Looking on the bright side is a good way to do it! I hope all of these life changes land you in a good place; it sounds like you are headed in the right direction. When all else fails, Margarita time. Hugs.

LOL....I'm smiling!
because each and every problem turned itself into either nothing, or something good. I love it when things turn around quickly.

Hi Debbie
My friend Job put it best, Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust Him. We all have our down and outs going through life and I too asked God more than once to let me go to sleep. But each morning I keep waking up only to see another day and the problems that comes with it. The beautiful thing about it is through the day I find all kinds of blessing that help to overcome the bad things. My last visit to the ENT she found I have a hole in my upper palate about the size of a pencil. Like I really need another hole in my head, anyway to day while rinsing my mouth I found out what the hole was good for. It is helping to keep my nasal clean by letting a little water slip by when rinsing, you would need to see it to know what I mean. But it just goes to show even the bad things that happen to us everyday God can turn into a blessing.
God Bless and always keep you in His care

Hondo, I had to laugh about the hole in the head. Sounds like you now have a built in neti pot. LOL. Blessings to you my friend.
