UPDATE ON ME....

in Breast Cancer #1

Its been one week since my new treatment and I have not had any fevers or flu like syptoms or severe nausea. The bad thing is I have no energy at all and my tastebuds are messed up (everything taste different) and I am noticing a loss of hair. I will also be receiveing a shot of XGEVA once a month for 4 months to treat the cancer in my spine.  The best thing is I do not have another treatment until July 22. We thank you for you continued prayers and good thoughts  I love you all my pink sisters and brothers.

    Hi Mommaellen,

     

    I am happy to see you going through your treatments.  I have no idea what to expect in mine as today is my first visit.  I wish you well.

    Chemo Queens -- unite

    ahhh so precious --  as we need others to help us maneuver thru all the systoms, and battles of side efforts.

    I have fought this battle and it was ugly at times - so my thoughts, and prayers are with the two of you. 

     

    We are here for you both, 24 hours a days - 7 days a week.

    Strength, Courage and HOPE for a Cure.

    Mommaellen, glad you are not having any fevers anf flu like systems with this new treatment. But alot of us do not have energy even after our treatments are over. I was one of these people and my energy level is very low. Hope your energy level gets better with time as with your treatments also.

    I hope you stay side

    I hope you stay side effect-free as much as can be. I am sure a break in treatment is a great thing-even if for a few weeks.
