Barbebarb has passed away.

I didn't want to overstep boundaries to let everyone know what was going on with Barb so I didn't post it, but a few months ago, she decided it was time to stop the chemo and let go. Barb and I emailed daily for a while, just sharing how scary things could be and how hard te concept of letting go so young is. She loved her children very much and shared a lot of stories about them with me. I only wish we lived closer. I will miss her and am glad to be able to have called her my friend.

Sad
Sad that this disease calls Indiscriminately. Children seem to take it the hardest of all.
The pain of the decisions Barb had to make must have been numbing for her and her family.
Peace to all, should we face the same.

Between Leena and Barb in
Between Leena and Barb in such a short time. I'm seriously depressed. I hate cancer. I planted a prize Lily yesterday in honor of Barb. We were both always bitching about how hard yard work had become. Something we both used to enjoy. I thought it was fitting. It's a peach and white double. It has a nice sunny spot.
