The beast came by last night...
...and whispered in my ear, "Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"...to which I answered, "Fred Astaire ain't got nuthin' on me, bring it, ****"...so we had a seven hour Cisplatin marathon today...some salsa, cha-cha, a little merengue, some languid bossa-nova, a torrid tango, and I finished with a flaming flamenco all around it's head...and a rad around my neck...I then whispered back, "Bring your A-game next time, you're gettin schooled"...
The next dance lesson is in three weeks...I better up my practice routine...

I love the way you express yourself!
Bev is right....take the meds BEFORE you need them.....except for rad stuff, you'll be feeling pretty chipper in three weeks.....

Not dancing
But I plan on golfing. Yesterday I got my first round of carboplatin with erbitux and took home pump for the next four days to get 5-fu. Get erbitux every week and the carbo every 3. Today I tried to hit range balls so I wrapped the strap of the bag that holds the pump around my waist through my belt looks and it worked. Can't tuck my shirt in but I can swing the Club no problem. Off tomorrow to play 18. I'll be damned to let this stop me. I have a lot of catching up to do as I did not play most of last year

awesome !
JC F,
I don't get on board here alot lately. Saw your post....love the attitude ! As mentioned, stay ahead of the pain, hydration and nausea. Keep a journal of some of your posts to share with others later. Your ability to nail down words that fit this trip are truely inspiring ! Hugs sent ! Katie (some song lyrics ? or your own ?)

If you have a port for infusions, check with your oncologist about the golfing. Either way, check in and ask if there are any concerns with swing clubs while being hooked up. Better safe than sorry.
