Has anyone heard from Mike? He has a site of his own but hasn't posted there since June 19th. Hoping to hear good news on his recovery. He had an infection but at last post was off the antibiotics and taking in soft foods. His drop foot was improving and he was hoping to be in a walk/run over the 4th so was thinking about him.

I've shared a few emails with him since then

He's doing ok.  Slow, steady recovery.  No longer has any of his tubes, and is gradually eating more.  The foot drop issue is a longer term thing, but he says he's getting PT and doing at home stuff for it.  Two months since his surgery, time to have a steak!
