To those of you that comforted me over the week-end, thank you.  Your encouraging words and information (Don) helped me make it through the waiting period without having a melt down.

Got the results back today and all is stable.  Can't ask for more than that.  I was greatly relieved when I received the email from my doctor.

Thanks again.

 

PS.   I have some banana bread in the oven.  Funny how I still crave sweets even though I don't have my taste of sugar back :)  Somehow, I still enjoy my treats.

    Glad you got some good news.  I am so glad that we all have each other on this site to comfort and share information.  It makes me wonder about the way folks handled things on their own before computers.  Sad, when you think about it.

    I hope you enjoyed your banana bread! I've got ripe bananas in the freezer that I need to get used up for bread...now I have a taste for it. Laughing

    Doing a happy dance for you, Joanie. 

    I can't taste sweets either yet (one bite of icecream is the taste part).........the rest of my daily indulgence is for old times sake, creamy texture, and I still feel like I'm getting a treat! :)

    Keep those NED reports coming. You see the exit door now. Next is the two years post milestone, a biggie, as recurrence for typical HNC HPV+ cases drops off a lot.
