NED!!!
21 MONTHS OUT, Cat scan done Monday, received the NED today! Dr. Said he couldn't be any happier with the results. Was impressed with how well my teeth are looking. See him again in 6 months and will discuss when the next scan will be. Needless to say had to celebrate, dinner out with husband. Drunken chicken and creme brulee. Yum!

Will be keeping you in my thought and prayers for a clean scan in 3 weeks, I just realized my last PET was 6 years ago next week. I have a lot of side effects still coming the last one was a hole the ENT found in my upper palate.

NED GREAT NEWS
Hey boardwalkgirl,
Big Congratulations on the Great NED News, Awesome!! I send hopes for many more to come. I do, as usual, suggest that you chat with your doc about getting a combonation eyes to thighs PET/CT scan, which is, again, the gold standard for follow-up scans; never hurts to ask. You go girl, and Keep It Mov'in Forward, it just keeps getting better!

Patricke, why wouldn't they use this standard? They do in UK. Is it radiation risk? They are dine on an articulated lorry here which has a container on the rear and moves from hospital to hospital (some are static) but this gives ease of access and reduces travelling time. Good to hear from you mate. Had little spin on carbon road bike today which I know you will appreciate. G.
