Hyperthermia in Germany - Request clinic info. & experiences
I have Stage IV adenocarcinoma of the colon with mets to the peritoneum. My CA19-9 marker is above 40,000 (as of 4/28/2014); No elevation of CEA marker. I have only months to live as my cancer has spread throughout my peritoneum. The affected organs witihin the peritoneum are the OUTSIDE MEMBRANES of my liver, the portal vein to my liver, my spleen and gall bladder (my bile ducts, specifically). I also have at least one large tumor in my internal cavity at the site of the scar left from the surgey during which my colon was removed. I am interested in going to a German Clinic for their Hyperthermia treatment, among others, as my last ditch effort to survive my cancer, at least for awhile longer. I understand that there are only 6 clinics in Germany that would be viable ones. I am waiting now for a book that tells of these 6 German clincis. Does anyone have any experiences with Hyperthermia (and/or related therapies) at any of these good Gernan clinics? If so, please share with me and others any success(es) you may have received from the treatment(s) received and from which clinic the Hyperthermia treatment was received, etc. Thank you. Nancy

Hello Nancy
I have no information about Hyperthermia treatments in Germany. I know there have been members here on the forum who have tried it, but the two I know that may have tried it, passed away earlier this year.
I am sorry that your post hasn't been addressed. Some times the forum runs slow.
Good luck in your search for answers.

I went to a German clinic where hyperthermia was offered but did not choose that particular therapy. Hyperthermia in nd do itself does not cure cancer but it supposedly puts the body in A More receptive state to respond to your chemo or whatever you are having done. It's a complementary therapy.
if money is no object, go see dr chang in NYC. Www.meridianmedicalgroup.org. He has a relationship with a good German clinic, and he also uses traditional and eastern therapies. I was there for dendritic cell treatment, and he told me about another patient of his with crazy high CEA and in a similar situation as yours. He was giving her some really expensive drug that seemed to be working. I never found out how her story ended.
raymond chang, meridian medical clinic, NYC. Good luck
