Thank you for this sad update
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Nick was a warrior/survivor in the best sense of the term. His caring and giving spirit will live on. I for one will miss him dearly. Thank you for posting here so that this may be shared with his CSN family. Hugs sent ! Katie

i can't express the great
i can't express the great sorry I feel over this news. Nick was an awesome human being, who, while going thru his own battle still continued to help others with their fight. He always had a huge smile on his face no matter how he was feeling and he always had something encouraging to say to everyone. The world became a much sadder place today and Nick Fama will be missed by many. My heartfelt prayers go out to his wonderful wife and children whom he loved so much and faught so hard for. We will miss you, Nick, but we also know you are now pain and cancer free and will never feel that again. We will all reunite one day but until then friend, prayers for your family and may you R.I.P. Love, hugs and prayers to you, Nick, and your family.
extremely sad and feeling a great loss,

Loss Of A Great Fighter
Nick and my husband were bus mates on this journey two years ago -- same diagnosis, same treatment.
No matter how hard the fight, Nick fought harder -- and always with that trademark smile and positive words.
May God bless his young family and give them strength. They should be proud of their husband, father, son, friend. He was a true warrior.
