Endoscopy

in Head and Neck Cancer #1

had an endoscopy this morning for second try to open my blockage. No luck again, next stage they will put me out and go through stomach and up to blockage guided by X-ray. If that doesn't work next step surgery. I don't fancy more X-ray seems I've had more than my share lately. It would be nice to eat and drink properly again. Onc said not to give up hope. Have sore throat now like I swallowed a sharp chip or toast crust. Managing with painkillers.

    I sure hope they improve your blockage as it sounds a big annoyance at best and much pain and discomfort at worst case. You been a trooper all along, just keep about the next small step forward. Don

    I am so sorry to hear that you are having to go through this ordeal.  I hope that it is able to be resolved with the X-ray guided blockage clearing.  Hang in there, and keep the hope going.

    Sorry you are still suffering from side effects

    You have been through so much and it would be nice if you had a break and could eat and swallow now.  Sending  positive energy your way for some relief.
