    All you can do is to try and

    All you can do is to try and tactfully remind her that the ring is yours.  She will either comply or not.  At that point, I would probably let it go. Settling possessions always seems to bring out the very worst in some.  It is such an emotionally charged time.  Good luck!  I lost my mother, father, gm. gf - all in a few years time.  it is tough.  Gentle hugs!
