Que le vaya bien
RIP Blanca Valdez. I remember meeting you almost 20 yrs ago when I crashed a quinceñera w your cousin. I rember you being shy to dance, but over the last 15 yrs everytime we crossed paths you were dancing. The life of the party! Im not sure where the nickname Grumpy came from. Maybe like how they call big boys Tiny. I only know that your kindness and concern for others was sincere. I will keep your baby boy and the rest of your family in my prayers. I pray they find comfort that you are no longer suffering as I am unable to find words to console them. You will be missed and your memory will be cherished.

I'm not sure who Blanca is (a friend?) and I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing. Hope your mother is doing better.
Jim
Blanca was a very friendly person that did not partake in gossip what so ever. Party pooper at times My mom is no longer in renal failure. She was sent to a different rehab facility which I removed her from within 8 hours. I submitted a complaint w the ombudsman and it's being forwarded to the state. I've taken extra days off. Glad I did because she fell trying to take a seat and tripping over her oxygen. I had to call the fire dept She's still very weak from being laid up so long.
How are you Jim? Are you NED?

I'm glad your mom is no longer in renal failure. My last scan was 5/12/2014 and thank goodness I'm still in remission/NED. My next scan is in November and if all is well then, I go to annual check ups and no scans unless I have symptoms. I have blood pressure and early stage kidney issues that we hope medication and lifestyle changes will improve.
I hope your mom regains strength and improves. Big hugs to both of you!
Jim
