Tomorrow is my hunny's last day!!!
He will finish up all his rads and chemos tomorrow we hope..they mentioned maybe some more chemo after because the node isn't shrinking like they would like it..but we will cross that bridge if we have to then...its been a long tough road and our baby girl graduates from college on Saturday...prayers please that he feels decent ...i just want him to enjoy it instead of being miserable the whole time! I am so thankful for this board and all of you who have helped with my questions,,,

With me it was a son. I remember walking around Walart and having to go sit in the car. It was the second round of chemo. Graduation was probably the third.

Great News
Finishing treatment to day and your daughter starts another chapter in her life tomorrow. I am sure he will enjoy it, if he is anything like I was going through treatment Sturday's event was something that helped him get through it all.
Life is good.............enjoy the day

AHollie, I know you've been on the site for a while so you pretty much know what to expect the next couple if weeks and they will probably be the toughest he's had so far. BUT the good news is he won't be getting hit every day with radiation, and every week or however frequent he was receiving chemo is hopefully over, so he will slowly but surely start to feel better. As I've heard Phrannie say a time or two, you can't measure progress in days at this point but by weeks and he should start to feel better. We all know that choking feeling and given how sore your husband's throat probably is right now, it has to be worse. I had a tube so I was doing pretty much everything through the tube at the point so good for your husband to still be able to eat.
Congratulations on your daughter's graduation tomorrow! A lot to celebrate this week for sure and you seem to have been an awesome caregiver, very much like my wife was to me.
I hope the graduation goes well and the family can celebrate together. You all deserve it!
All the best,
Keith
