Away for a bit

Going north to Portland, Oregon for awhile.  My daughter is having surgery, she has lost 133 lbs. and the extra skin has been causing infections.  We will be able to help with 20 month old granddaughter .  Hopefully it will be spring, my husband has a lot of honey do's for her house.  Just wanted to let you know I won't be around for awhile.  BTW, hwt (Candi) contacted me on April 20th.  She didn't know how long she would be off line.  Her younger sister passed away suddenly.

KT, i pray your daughter will be ok.  i'm so sorry to hear about Candi's sister!  thank you for letting us know.  she sure has had a lot of bad things happen lately.  praying for Candi and her family also.  take care and thanks for letting us know you'll be off a while.  i hope you have a very good visit with your daughter and granddaughter.  Safe travels.

To your daughter. She has a very supportive mum as us Brits would call you in her corner. And you'll get to spend some time with your granddaughter. Losing that much weight is a great achivement and Im sure she will feel fantastic when she gets through this. Regards, G.

Yes, there is internet access but I didn't know about my time.  We drove straight through on Thursday, 13 hours.  We were exhausted yesterday!  My daughter's surgery is Monday.  She has lost 133 lbs. and the excess skin has been causing infections.  She has a blood clotting factor and will be on meds and stay at the hospital at least overnight.  I will have Sofia on Monday, luckily it is supposed to be sunny so we can play outside.  I will be busy.  Happy Mother's Day to all.

Was only joking! Wow I don't think you could drive for 13 hours in UK without hitting water. You have a lovey time with your family and I wish your daughter a speedy recovery. Enjoy that sunshine with your grandaughter. G.
