PET Scan Results - happy news

I had a 6 month PET scan (follow up) on Friday.  The results: no active or metastatic activity.  Lots of sclerotic ribs and old junk, but nothing active.  Happy, happy news for us!  I just had to share!!!!

    Wonderful news CC. I am so happy for you.  Have you recovered from the beautiful wedding?  I am just starting down that road with our youngest daughter. She's getting married Nov. 2.  Fun times ahead.  Doing the happy dance for you here in Texas.!

    Well you couldn't ask for better health news, now could you? Congratulations. I am so pleased for you (and your family). It looks like 2014 is going to be a good year for you. Hopefully your daughter's wedding and this PET scan is just the beginning.

    Thank you all for the support!!  It really helps me. 

    We saw my oncologist of 27 years yesterday. The mood was celebratory - very unusual for this Gregory House type of physician. He hugged me twice. Very weird and I cried with happy tears. He was about to discuss a new chemo option, but seemed ecstatic that I didn't need it. 

    Again, I do not know why I am still hear and thriving. I believe it is part luck and part my determination to stick with my treatment, no matter how difficult (when possible). 

    Much love to you all. And thank you again for the kind support. It has me blubbering this am... Lol.
