I started a nlphl blog.
Since there seems to be no way to add pictures and csn technical assistance seems nonexistance, I just wanted you wonderful people to know I started a blog at www.olympiajeff148.blogspot.com I think pictures make things much more personal.
I will be trying to make a post each week with a picture, and my experience that week. Including weight, workout, positives and challenges. By the way, the picture is from my recent trip with my high school buddies to Kalaupapa on Molokai. I grew up in Hawaii and my family still lives there. My buddies and I were fortunate to stay at Kalaupapa for 5 days. The picture is from when several of us did an early morning hike to the top of the cliff on the trail the mules use. I'm the one in the blue shorts with two of the ranchers on either side.

Blog and Pictures
Hi Jeff,
I checked out your blog and look forward to seeing more entries as time goes along.
FYI, you can add pictures here and you can also blog at this site if you wish.
Testing to make sure nothing has changed. . .
This is a thumbnail of a muffin I baked today.
Cheers,
Rocquie

Thanks for the response. I've tried to post pictures but they don't seem to show up. Can you give me the steps you took to post that delicious looking muffin? I've also tried to add a picture to my name. It says it has accepted the picture and then one never shows up. How did you do that as well?

Jeff, I am no computer expert by any means. Whatever I know how to do I figured out by hacking around.
To add a profile picture, look at the top of this page to where it says "Welcome Jeff 148" (after you log in, of course). The words Click here are underlined. Click and you will go to another page. On that page, you will see your name; out beside it are a few different words, in blue type, one of which is "edit". Click that. You will be taken to another page. Go to the bottom of the page to where you see "Picture". Click the box that says "choose file". You can choose any picture from your computer. Don't forget to click "Submit" at the very bottom of the page when you are done.
To add a picture to a comment, look at the toolbar at the top of the comment box. Click on the little green icon (looks like a tree to me). A box will pop up. Your cursor will be blinking in a blue box that says "Image URL" and to the right of the box is a button with some red dots. Click that. A window pops up; in this one click the green arrow "upload". Here comes another window popping up where you can choose an image from your computer. Choose your image, then close the window. Now go back to the first window that popped up. You can choose the "appearance" tab to change the size. Click "insert".
Just keep hacking--you'll figure it out. If I did, you can.
Best,
Rocquie

We'll be thinking about you today, you will do fine. I can tell you will be a nurse's favorite at your cancer center. Let us know how it went if you are up to it.
Wow Roquie, I'm impressed. I love your directions, they're so girlie . It's like.....don't give me a map, just tell me when to turn right and left and what lanes I should be in . I'm bookmarking this page, then I can help Mr computer whiz Bill too.

Hoping everything went without a hitch.
Roquie, hope you don't think I was making fun, I just meant usually when men give directions, women can't understand, I can do yours, they were perfect.

Hi Jeff,
Just wanted to add
Hi Jeff,
Just wanted to add that whenever I post a picture I always end up posting the picture twice because on the first try my pictures never come up...don't know why. Hopefully this will help you! Hope your first day of chemo wasn't too bad, i remember that mine was actually pretty awful (was in major pain)
Take care
Sincerely,
Liz0
