prayers for a friend
The 3 year old daughter of some very dear friends of ours was diagnosed with kidney cancer this week. They were shocked to find that it has spread to her lungs so they have staged it as stage IV. She will have to undergo six weeks of chemo before they reevaluate for surgery to remove her kidney. This little girl was my oldest daughter's first friend & they are still the best of friends now.
She had a port placed yesterday & a biopsy. It will be either favorable or unfavorable histology. We are obviously praying it will be favorable. Please keep this family in your prayers. Her name is Zoe.

Prayers from Liverpool. Puts everything in perspective. My wife works as a sister in Alder Hey Paediatric Hospital ITU. She has been there 25 years. There is not a week that gos by when we are not approached by patents whose children have survived very serious illness. This hospital is second only to Great Ormand St. London in UK. Miracles happen. My thoughts and prayers are with this little one one her family. G.

            UPDATE!
Pathology came back sooner than expected & the tumor is a favorable pathology! Praise God! Her hemoglobin was low today & they believe her tumor is bleeding so she will have a blood transfusion & hopefully begin chemo early next week. Thank you for praying everyone, please keep them coming!!!

One of the hardest things for me has been while taking my husband to his treatments and appointments to see all the children fighting cancer. However, I believe in healing and miracles. A very good friend shared the testimony on the link below. It really encouraged me. I hope it will encourage you as well.
