CT Scan results....
Hi Guys,
My CT Scan results came in the mail today. It showed an enlarged right paratracheal lymph node measuring 2.3 x 1.4 centimeters in size. Appearance is suspicious for recurrent lymphoma. So...basically this means, the cheek, eye and now the right paratracheal node in the chest wall is where the cancer is located. NO organ infiltration...so that is good. That's all I know for now. I'll see my Oncologist next Thursday. I'm so grateful no major organs are involved. Hope you all have a good Easter Sunday. Love...Sue

Hi Sue
Thanks for the update. I'm glad no organs are involved! I know you wanted a break to get settled in to your new home but maybe this is something you want to attack sooner than later unless it's slow growing? Happy Easter to you and your family. Will Lizzy be hunting eggs?
Love and warmest of hugs,
Jim

It could have been much worse. Like I said before, I am sure you will respond to a new treatment, and you caught it early. I hope you're a little relieved. I'll bet it was hard to open that report. Thanks for letting us know, enjoy your family tomorrow.

Thank you guys...Yes...I was a little anxious when I saw the report in my mailbox, but as you said Becky, it could have been worse. At least now all of the testing is done and we can get a plan in place to get rid of this nasty stuff. Jim....Lizzy did her easter egg hunt this morning at her house, but spent yesterday with us and had her Easter fun. Our great grandson Brenden came over also, so I had a fun day with the two of them. Later today we are going to our best friends house for a Bbq, while our kids/grandkids go to the other side of their families for Easter celebrations. It's all good! Beautiful weather here today!
Happy Easter! Sue

Hi Liz,
My CT Scan a year ago in April came back clean. The lump in my right cheek showed up around June,(2013) so I called and got in to have it checked out. My Onc did not feel it was anything to worry about. ?? My mistake to believe him, or his mistake to let it go? Doesn't matter much now. The red spot in my eye showed up mid January(2014) and steadily got worse through February. I went to my PCP thinking I had eye crud of some kind, but thank goodness my PCP sent me to a eye specialist, because he immediately looked at it and felt it was cancer. Hence the biopsy, which came back positive. Only then did both my PCP and Oncologist decide to remove the cheek lump for biopsy..hence recurrent FNHL. Then...it was time for my yearly CT Scan, so hence found the cancer in my chest wall. It's crazy, because I have felt fine this whole time. I'm past angry and now just want to get things going and get rid of it again. I see my Oncologist Thursday at 11:00, so I will have a better idea of where we go from here. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for caring Liz...having support is very comforting. My new motto is "onward and upward, but I'm not ready for heaven yet!!! Take care sweetie...Love Sue
