    I've been wondering

about her, hope the surgery was successful and we get word in the not too distant future. Makes me think, if, God forbid, we have to have treatment and are unable to post, maybe we should tell our family, to let our friends on CSN know what's taking place

    Yes.

I usually have my sister post for me after my surgeries here and on FB.

    I gave my sister

a list of places on the net...dog forums, facebook, and here to contact if I was unable to make contact myself.  I got the idea from you, Bev....so people would know what was going on.

    Sisters!

At my 'surprise' 60th birthday party a week ago, one of my friends thanked my sister for keeping everyone up to date on my recovery after surgeries.  Stanford is 2 1/2 hours away from home and I am in no shape to post coming out of anestesia.

    My angel Vicki

Hi everyone.....This is John. Vicki's husband. We have lost an angel. Vicki passed away in my arms on Tuesday 4-15. She had a couple of rad treatments on her leg the last Wed. and Thurs. to alleviate the pain before her passing and that seemed to put her over the top. She became comatose and in a vegatative state (Could have been a combo of rads, brain lesions and pain meds) She was the strongest woman I had ever known. To go through all of this in three years, it was a total nightmare. I wasn't a part of this site but I certainly knew of it and I'm sure she would have wanted me to let everyone know. I knew she respected and, to a point, loved each and every one of you. You helped her through the tough times until she couldn't write anymore. I want to personally thank each of you for helping her. She is incredibly loved and will be incredibly missed. Thank you again.   John

PS...If anyone would like to discuss this more...I find it very cathartic. I am loss and our house is very empty now. How I miss her.....

    Sorry for your loss

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  I looked everyday for Vicki's post.  I was in the hospital at the same time she was in Feb/Mar - and I thought of her often.

Thank you so much for letting us know.  My prayers are with you and your family.
